Aviation Safety Compliance LLC (ASC) was founded by aviation veterans John Cox and Jim Hosey. In October 2026, former NTSB Vice Chairman Michael Graham joined the team. Together they bring decades of operational, investigative, regulatory, and executive safety leadership to aviation and other safety-critical industries.

John Cox, co-founder, has 56 years in aviation as a corporate, commercial airline, and test pilot, and more than 35 years as an instructor and aviation safety professional.

Jim Hosey, President and co-founder, spent 30 years in military flight operations, commanding several departments with multi-million-dollar budgets. He has more than 35 years as an aviation safety professional.

Michael Graham served on the five-member National Transportation Safety Board from 2020 to 2026. At the NTSB he advanced safety management systems and was the Board Member on scene for major aviation, rail, and marine investigations. Before that, he spent more than two decades at Textron Aviation, finishing as Director of Flight Operations Safety, Security and Standardization. While there, he built an Aviation Safety Action Program that became a model for Part 91 operators. He is a former U.S. Navy F/A-18 pilot and instructor, and an Airline Transport Pilot with more than 10,000 flight hours.

John and Jim are certified Aviation Auditors in SMS and compliance programs. They conduct operational and internal audits, investigations, inspections, and Safety Gap Analyses, including for Fortune 500 corporate operators. Mike’s addition extends the team’s capability into board- and executive-level advisory work, accident and incident investigation, emergency preparedness, and safety-culture improvement. The team helps ensure your operations meet domestic and international accreditation standards.
